    🌑 Dark0Edit [Flux.1 Dev] – The Analog Depth & Texture Engine

"Stop rendering geometry. Start rendering matter."

Dark0Edit is not just a style filter—it is a Material Physics Engine for Flux.1 Dev. While base Flux often suffers from "Digital Hardness" (oversharpened edges, plastic skin, flat fabrics), this LoRA acts like a High-End Analog Film Scan. It understands that real light diffuses through skin (Subsurface Scattering) but gets trapped in rough textures (Micro-Contrast).

🧬 1. VISUAL DNA (What it actually does)

    • Smart Texture Interpretation:

      • On Skin: It removes the "plastic shine" and replaces it with organic, breathable texture. It creates a softer light roll-off (analog softness) rather than harsh digital cuts.

      • On Materials: It aggressively enhances the tactile feel of fabric (tweed, wool), oxidized metal, and weathered wood. You can "feel" the friction.

    • Volumetric Depth: It doesn't just crush blacks; it deepens the shadow transitions, giving the image 3D-pop without needing a 3D engine.

    • The "Film Look": It introduces a subtle, high-quality grain structure that unifies the image, killing the clean "CGI look."

🎨 2. PROMPTING STRATEGY (The Golden Ratio)

This LoRA is potent. It affects the physics of your scene.

    • Solo Use (Scene/Objects): Strength 0.8 - 1.0

      • Best for: Steampunk, Cyberpunk, Macros, Old Man Portraits, Architecture.

    • The Mix (Characters): Character LoRA (0.8) + Dark0Edit (0.6)

      • Best for: Keeping female faces beautiful but removing the "AI-Smoothness."

Recommended Keywords: (analog film grain:1.1), (tactile texture:1.2), (soft light falloff), depth of field, (material physics), subsurface scattering.

📋 3. MASTER PROMPT SNIPPET (Copy & Paste)
    Dark0Edit, (cinematic lighting:1.2), (tactile texture:1.2), [Subject], (hyper-realistic material physics:1.1), detailed skin texture, atmospheric depth, 35mm photograph, f/1.8, (raw style:1.2).

    🛠️ 4. TECHNICAL SPECS

    • Trigger Word: Dark0Edit

    • Base Model: Flux.1 Dev (Quantized or FP16)

    • Training: 30 High-Fidelity Textures & Portraits.

    • Sweet Spot: 0.6 (Portraits) / 0.9 (Texture Heavy).

Created for the creators who value texture over smoothness.

It would be super useful to see a before/after, to understand what the lora is doing

Thanks for the input. I'll add that as soon as possible. It's a good idea. I've noticed that it primarily improves the depth of field and doesn't necessarily increase the depth contrast as planned.

I've added two example images and adjusted the accompanying text. This better describes the effect and the benefits generated by LoRa.

@Axador I see, thanks for posting that! It seems like a soft enhancer of the overall quality of the picture.
