I understand the reason for the "ad". CivitAI has been removing several LoRA files, mainly I2V. This one will probably be removed soon as well, but it will be backed up there at civarchive.com

I used to like the LoRAs from iGoonHard, but they've all been removed. The solution was to download some from civarchive.com, but he only releases new LoRAs to his Fanvue subscribers. I subscribe and the LoRAs are great.

Sometimes CivitAI is terrible, so we do what we can and have to accept it, maybe look for alternatives.

@AishaAI Yup, wish is why I wish could get a replacement site. The removal of iGoons is perplexing and I'm glad I stumbled across your comment. I wondered if he had moved somewhere else and wanted to find if he made any new loras. His is an incredible model creator and his loras worked very well for the most part.

@GlowingGuardianGirl I'm just stating the facts. Civitai is removing LoRA files, and those who produce them need to find other ways to distribute them.

@LetTheBassDrop He's made more amazing LoRAs. Check out his Fanvue, it's about $10 a month for a subscription.

@AishaAI If he's hiding behind a paywall, he can stay there. You can't even see the kind of content he's made, every post is blurred, this is ridiculous.

igoon's new loras is much more imporved than the older ones, he used new dataset i think.

i mean like the subject's face literally not changing/drifting when using the lora with the recomended setting, it's crazy..

@GlowingGuardianGirl I simply paid, so I didn't even know it was only visible to subscribers, but I use his LoRA files on Aisha-AI, though I obviously charge for that too. I was already familiar with his work, so I knew it was good even before subscribing. Visit the Civit Archive to download the removed LoRA files and you'll see they're good.

@fronyax They're definitely much better than before, and it's a shame he abandoned Civitai, but I completely understand the reason.

@cumulus0033697 That's true, but the responsibility lies with whoever does it, not with whoever created LoRA. If someone commits murder with a knife, it doesn't make sense to punish the knife's creator.

@cumulus0033697 I understand the responsibility aspect, but we can't blame creators for the misuse of their creations by third parties. This does more harm than good. Imagine a world without knives because some people use them to kill people. Imagine a world without cars because some people drive drunk. If some people are misusing these tools, those people need to be punished, not everyone else.

I think that if you publish something that predictably enables abuse, you also share some responsibility. I’m arguing from real world consequences, and unfortunately the real world always wins. Without rules, nasty deepfakes grow rapidly, leading to legal pressure on the platforms that enable these kind of things, platform dies, which ultimately hurts open source AI communities the most.

@AishaAI Oh I saw some IGoon loras around those backup sites, but I havent tried them, which one do you recommend to try out, also if you have some vids bookmarked that would be great to see and het an idea!

@TieFighterPilot he made good "Blink to" LoRAs (woman in a scene, then cuts to the same woman in other scene). I think anyone you try yo'll like

@AishaAI Ah those blink loras are awesome, now, time to time I do that technique using the smash_cut lora and it works really well
