Darth Talon, a female Lethan Twi'lek Sith Lady, first appeared in the Marvel Comics series Star Wars: Legacy #2 (July 2006), within the Legends continuity, created by writer John Ostrander and artist Jan Duursema. She is depicted with distinctive red skin fully covered in intricate black Sith tattoos, earned through ritual combat and personally inscribed by Darth Krayt, along with yellow eyes and traditional Twi'lek lekku. Born on the Sith world of Korriban, Talon was a third-generation member of the One Sith Order, raised in its academy and trained as an assassin under the Twi'lek Sith Lord Darth Ruyn, whom she ultimately decapitated on Krayt's orders to complete her ascension.
Talon served as one of Darth Krayt's two Hands—elite personal enforcers receiving commands solely from the Dark Lord—embodying absolute loyalty and immersion in the dark side. Her personality is marked by fierce combativeness, taunting demeanor toward opponents, and strategic use of seduction and Force bonds to corrupt targets. As a highly skilled lightsaber duelist and dark side adept, she executed critical missions, including pursuits of Imperial Princess Marasiah Fel and Jedi allies, demonstrating unwavering devotion even in the face of betrayal within the Sith ranks.
Throughout the Star Wars: Legacy series, Talon experiences significant trials, such as dueling Jedi on multiple worlds, attempting to turn the reluctant Cade Skywalker to the dark side through training and manipulation, and suffering a near-fatal abdominal impalement by him, from which she recovered in a bacta tank. She defended Krayt during internal power struggles and the final Battle of Coruscant, where his death led to the One Sith's fragmentation. In the aftermath, Talon survived in hiding under Darth Nihl's leadership, shifting to covert infiltration of planetary governments to strike against the Galactic Alliance and Jedi, solidifying her enduring role as a devoted and resilient Sith operative in the post-Empire era.
