Magic Mouse Illustrious

is a custom multi-merge by Mori no Seirei

that aims to combine distinct and beautiful stylings that are tempered against more classical anime imagery to create a lovely blend between gorgeous, high-polish generations, and crisp, high-quality, modern anime styles.

(Generations look nice without them, but you will notice a difference if you include both the positive and negative tags to your prompt. These ones are just the minimum)

Recommended settings:

DPM++2M Karras

Sampling Steps: 20+

Resolution: 896x1152

Upscaling: Latent (Remacri works well also)

Upscaled by: 1.25 - 1.4

Denoise Strength: 0.55 - 0.7

(These are MY preferred settings. Play around with them and find what works for you!)

SDXL_VAE is baked-in by default

Changelog:

• Adjusted the recipe ratios so that OfMiceAndDoe_v2 is now more present.

• Changed the recipe ratios so that all supporting checkpoints share an identical percentage of the merge.

• Used an updated version of BlackMagic (v4.2)

• Folded-in Animij_v6 as a supporting checkpoint for stability without compromising style

Gens are generally more stylized versus the previous version (2.4).

- Version 2 REDUX:

This is an alternate variant of Version 2.4.

Instead of trying to improve MagicMouse I simply REMADE the current version of MM using entirely up-to-date versions of the illustrious models used in my merges.

This version doesn't iterate on my artistic vision, and should be considered a tangential fork of v2.4.

It was more like a side-quest, a "what-if", to see what it would look like if I used the updated models.

This version uses:

OfMiceAndDoe_v3.3, IllustriousBlackMagic_v4.2, and NovaOrangeXL_v14.

and as such, loses some of the dramatic charm that OM&D_v2 had (due to its later iterations changing its recipe), and gains some finer details in return. This version takes on a much more classical look versus the more stylized MM_v2.4

That attempted to smooth out some edges by incorporating a secondary "classical" anime-styled checkpoint as reinforcement.

The weight of Mice&Doe's style is lifted without losing its charm, or having its outlines be diminished, by incorporating BlackMagic, then it's given a boost to its depth and texture by the inclusion of NovaOrange.

v2.4 changelog:

• Started over. Re-merged OfMiceAndDoe and BlackMagic with a different weight ratio that better accomplished my goal. (it was a marginal improvement)

• Merged in a NovaOrangeXL version as a stabilizer to smooth out some of the inconsistencies that I was noticing.

• Gens are now more stable

• Better overall detail

• Eye distortions have been lessened. (This will likely be my next focus for either a v2.4+ or a v3 update)

• Hand distortions have marginally improved
