Without this LoRA, several of these simply won’t work. If you’ve tested it, you should know the difference.More than two-thirds of them won’t work, because I already tested this before training the LoRA.
Agree. Most of the sample images can be done without LoRA.
@VeryDumb Out of the 14 items, 10 of them (1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14) require LoRA — without LoRA, they simply can’t be done.
If you actually test them one by one, you should know this result already.
Otherwise, you can clarify it: when you say “most of them can be done without LoRA,” which ones exactly are you including?
Before I even had the LoRA, I had already tested these using prompts alone.
That’s why I know which ones cannot be done, and I tested them more than once.
I can also distinguish which cases might be possible without LoRA (but are much easier and more reliable with it).
From how it looks, neither of you seems to have much experience working with the Illustrious model yet, so you may not fully understand its actual capabilities.
My suggestion is to test them one by one — you’ll find that what I’m saying is broadly correct.
@VeryDumb I thought of a possible reason for the disagreement: you may be assuming that any censorship as long as the three points are covered is sufficient.
However, the purpose of this LoRA is to make specific objects do the covering — for example, hair, steam, petals, locker door, drawers, straws, or the heads of another male or female character.
If the goal is simply to cover the three points, the model will very likely default to hands or towels, which defeats the purpose of using specific objects in the first place.
“Covering the three points with specific objects” and “just covering the three points (with hands or towels)” are clearly two different things.

Censored by steam, hair, foam, and petal are pretty easy to generate without LoRA.
@VeryDumb I tried using hair and petals three times in a row and didn’t get any successful results, so I stopped testing further.
These two weren’t originally meant to be included, but since the success rate was low, I decided to add them.
Hair in particular easily turns into hands covering instead.
After using the LoRA, it works almost every time.
If you don’t want to rely on luck, you can use this.
