I found better settings that give the intended results for this lora.
Lora strength ~0.6
12 steps, euler, sgm_uniform, cfg 1
Suggested prompt:

Upscale: Upscale using model (see the tiger showcase image), I use "realesr-general-wdnx4v3", x2 (x4 using "upscale using model" node and then x0.5 using "upscale image by" node), denoise 0.2

Strength: 1, but lower the strength to create more realistic images

Prompting: First, select the general style of your image. If you select a drawing or a painting, the lora will show up with more strength from the start. "Colorful gothic painting" basically applies the full force of the lora almost immediately, depending on the exact prompt.

If you select a realistic style like a photograph, it may not show up at all, or show up a little in things it likes. Then add things it likes to the prompt (long hair, ornate clothes/armor, various animals, various classic-type buildings (lighthouses, towers, etc...) in the background, animals like birds and butterflies, wolves, cats. lower the strength if the effect is too strong.

Combined with other loras, I got good results when the total strength of them all was about 1. So, for example, with the 80's fantasy film lora, they would both be 0.5 and the prompt would be something like:

l1s4g0th, arsmoviestill, colorful gothic 80's fantasy movie still depicting....

Use Ultimate SD Upscaler to upscale, with denoise 0.2 and the foolhardy-remacri x4 upscale model.

Use mask detailer to fix/detail areas, with a denoise of around 0.35
