Why doesn't it show up when I put it in the lora folder?

You may have to refresh the program for it to realize you've added it.
I can second this issue. I have the lora stored alongside all my others in my file structure, but even upon refreshing loras in my Lora tab in A1111 or reloading A1111, this lora does not show up in my list in A1111. It can still be invoked by typing <lora:thicc_v1.4-pony_done:1>.
I've had this happen with two other Lora of the hundreds I've tried and never found a solution.
This is a semi-common problem with Loras in auto1111 or Forge. I'm not sure what marks it as a "Pony" model, but checking the option "Always show all networks on the Lora page" in auto1111/forge should get them to appear.
@sixpt55 I've always used the <lora:loraname:1> prompt format in A1111/Forge, so I'm not sure how other methods work. See if @pr0log's suggestion works
I just wanted to add that if you manually create a json file for it, like how A1111 automatically creates for other loras, it will show up...
