Mai Shiranui V2 from Fatal Fury in Crimson Style
First of all, I’d like to apologize for getting the character’s original series wrong. I previously released V1 listing her as being from Street Fighter.

Now, let’s talk about Mai Shiranui. V2 is a complete rework of the character, featuring a new dataset, improved tagging, better outfit control, and overall higher fidelity.

I’d like to mention a couple of things. First, I decided to test a different checkpoint, because over the past few days I’ve noticed how much the base checkpoint affects generation. If you look at the images, only one was generated using the checkpoint I normally use, this was done to highlight the differences in the results.

The second point is for those who are knowledgeable about checkpoints: I’m currently looking for a new one. Since checkpoints play a huge role in fine details, I’m searching for a checkpoint that generally favors Crimson Sensei’s style, so the characters I try to replicate can be more faithful. I say this because I’ve noticed that checkpoints have their own inherent style, and using one that clashes with Crimson Sensei’s style only ends up reducing fidelity.
