Version 2
The second version is a little easier to use and should be better overall. I also added another lighting option. I've done some experimenting with untrained lighting combinations, they work sometimes but can be inconsistent.
When generating I recommend lowering the lora weight down to 0.5-0.6 when you do the hiRes fix or an img2img upscale.
I also recommend putting "red skin" in the negative prompt when generating with red/blue lighting

Split Light is a LoRA for creating dramatic split lighting effects in your generations. Perfect for stylized portraits, cinematic scenes, or just for changing the mood.
This version includes red/blue, green/purple, and teal/orange color schemes, trained for strong contrast and vivid atmosphere.
Works well across a range of checkpoints and responds to prompts like the following:
split-light, blue light, red light split-light, teal light, orange light split-light, green light, purple light Sample images were generated with Euler A, 25 steps, in SD.Next. Followed by a hi-res fix and detailers.
Known Issues: Green/Purple isn't as consistent as the other color combinations
If you encounter any other problems or want any improvements in future versions please let me know.

This is an excellent idea, excellently executed.
Such a beautiful (and artistically useful) tool! and the lora is so flexible and creative, for example splitting the light correctly, targeted at not just randomly pretty color shifts -- also at objects like candle glow and face shine.
My workload is full now, but doesn't matter, I must find the time to fully experiment and add this to my workflow.
Thank you so much!
If you ever wanted your picture to feel like, The Last of Us Part II's subway scene/level or just to have a beauty colored cinematic backlight shot, look no further and use this you'll love the end result 😎
The lighting works BUT the LORA changes the composition wayyyyy too much. Can you please look into that, thank you ^^
Yeah, I'm not sure when I'll get around to updating this lora but I will definitely keep that in mind when i do
