OPii オピー Overview
youtu.be/MGjdLiz2YLk www.youtube.com/channel/UC3j2z04sJxn23F5cnqJMVBA This is a rig for Blender base on a OpenPose mannequin, with this rig you can create even consistent characters and animations in Stable diffusion. Comes with thickness controls, hands and feet to improve posing and animation. I have added a wonderful script that should load with the file in the scripting tab this script is not made by be but I have asked for permission to the original developer.
All the credit for the script that connects Blender to A1111 belong to Jin Liu github.com/coolzilj twitter: SongZi @Songzi39590361 #github.com/coolzilj/Blender-ControlNet Please star his repo and follow his developments.
I want to add a pose library too. But first I must make Maya's version 2 as well This is not need it but it is a neat free addon to work in animation in blender if you want to always access the thickness sliders while you work.
if you are a hardcore animator, go ahead otherwise skip it gitlab.com/AquaticNightmare/space_switcher/-/tree/master another awesome addon now that we have weapons is Blender Dynamic Parent github.com/romanvolodin/dynamic_parent

That's interesting, gonna take a look. Also, I'll start to follow you here
If you have any suggestions please let me know.
Is there some tutorial you can recommend i can follow to use this?
How to move stuff. Because i select the circle things but can't do anything with them.
@dillion1920 I made a few videos on how to use it. please check my YT channel I fill the readme with links to my Socials.
But You need to know the bare basics of blender, Use Blender 3.3.5 LTS, on the layout tab activate Pose mode by pressing TAB in the viewport, when you open the file you should be already in Pose mode , to click the controls and move things around with the move tool and rotate with the rotate tool all you need is pose the character, fire up A1111 webui with Api --api in the ARGS go to the script tab click the play bottom to link Blender to A1111 above the script come back to the layout tab and press F12 if your controlnet models are the same hash and number as the script your render will come straight into Blender UI if not you can render your pose like normally you render images in blender and past them manually into the A1111 webui to use them as control guides.
Hope it helps. I will try make tutorials for total beginners next
Pls redownload the files. I have updated the colors to the official Mikubill repo with help of u/BGJI AugmentedRealityCat (github.com)
First, thank you for working so hard on this!
For someone new to Blender, is there a specific version number needed to get the space-switcher add on working? It's saying installed at the bottom of the window, but I don't see the same tool box in your example video.
Also, how can I switch from the openpose color-coded view to the one that's a larger white model with black outlines? I can see and edit the props, but can't figure out how to make the Chad/Stacy meshes visible.
3D apps are difficult to grasp at the beginning, Blender works in a mode basis and most stuff if hidden where you are not in the correct mode after a while you get use to it, they have to do it this way because 3D apps are huge and is impossible to show all at once. The rig should work from 3.3 to 3.5 maybe works on previous versions too I am too lazy to try 2.8.
The space switcher is on the items menu you might need to collapse/uncollapse with the little down arrow icon
For Chad and Staci, you make visible with the sliders with number 1 hid with 0 and you need to be in the view layer to see it.
There is a full tutorial linked in the description but here it is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRQKAOD4ml0&t=1569s I have several tutorials for it on my YT channel but this explain all you need to do to use it
First, thank you for working so hard on this!
I met a confusion on the blender composing node, why only the seg graphic is different with others(canny and depth), the results is completely wrong, it is not the same with the Viewer background. I see the problem in your tutorial video also.
Could you help me?
This is huge. I mean, if someone takes a few days and learn the interface, you can produce real movies, as you said. All options are there.
I need to find some time to get more into this.
How will this work with a ready-made animation, like mixamo? Or if you make the animation in cascadeur? How can you merge your rig in an existing key framed rig. So many questions to ask.
Why isn't everyone talking about this?
Thank you for your work! You are a saint sharing with us.
Yes, but so sad that almost no one cares and you are right is incredibly powerful and with some effort and good planning you could made a short movie is easy to attach another animation premade animations and even extracted animations from videos to the rig there is a feature called animation retargeting. Here is a jump I made from this vid3eo and retarget to the rig https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/fegstd071pnhyuc7pgv2c/cutsyjump.blend?rlkey=8pa11fjk9uy4xr7o2mjpj6j38&dl=0
Hey, I love the possibility of this, but for some reason when I open it in Blender I don't have the limb system or Stacy/ Chad. The weapon stuff is there and I can hide/ toggle it at will, but everything else is not. Any chance that's a bug or is it me?
Tried and saw the same issue on both Blender 3.3.5 LTS and 3.6. I also have Space Switcher and Dynamic Parent, they seem to be working fine.
EDIT: Figured it out. If you get this issue with OPII click on the "Layers" area where the rig has selectable pieces (spines, arms, etc, it looks like a bunch of green, yellow, and red dots and lines). Click Main or Second and it will spawn in everything else you need.
Howdy! I aprpeciate the hard work it takes to create this. About a year ago I had downloaded a version for Maya, that seemingly has been deleted from the internet. I exported this version out of bLender as fbx and took it over to maya, but it was an absolute mess. Do you have a version for maya, whether it's as feature rich as this one or not? Just being able to have it pre-rigged with IK and handles is all I'm hoping for.
-Cheers!
yes I have it but you have to change the colors map because they hanged since when I make it https://impactframes.gumroad.com/l/gtefj is a mess otherwise if you leave the same maps
Sadly it doesn't seem to work here, controlnet can't even understand the pose in png format, i have no idea what is wrong, the script also don't seem to work here, tried executing it by pressing F12 on blender after doing everything you said in the video in webui too and it simply does nothing except saving the control imgs on the folder... i need a way to transform this into json
