I've had Venus unfinished for ages, and doing my tests with Willow and Belinda made me go back to see if I could get her working. My aim here was to get a dark-skinned character with blonde hair, and I abandoned it as I simply couldn't get that while also keeping the embedding not turn to total crap (and not just create only naked characters). With the lessons from Willow, I had a few ideas... and I still couldn't get the blonde hair, but I did manage to get a dark-skineed nobody character more consistently than I have before. As such, I felt she was worth posting.

The thing which seemed to make a difference was doing what almost all the embedding training says not to do - setting an initialization step in the training. Willow was based on woman. I thought by perhaps being even being more specific may help - so I started with "Black woman". It didn't seem to make a huge overwhelming difference, but along with the other best settings, turned out the best of all the 11 versions I tried.

If she does turn lighter, remember a "Black" added before the embedding tends to help. It also strongly depends on your model.
