Does a character LoRA really need 400MB of space? did you set something wrong?
I don't know, maybe it's because I trained LoRA with Illustrious-XL-v2.0-stable? Sorry, I don't have much experience training LoRA, so I'm not sure what's causing this. 😢
Dizziness You don't need to apologize—I'm not blaming you. I just think a single-character LoRA shouldn't require 400MB. You can try reducing the DIM setting in the LoRA training script to shrink the file size. Typically, a single-character LoRA can be as small as 40MB or even lower.
Finally, I still appreciate that you were willing to upload this LoRA.
nian__gao233 From what I've seen, depending on what tool you are using, the value that affects file size is the Network/Dimension Rank and the Network Alpha.
The default I believe is 32, which gives the typical 220mb approx filesize.
Higher value means higher "accuracy" but lower values seem to be fine.
I think thats the number civitai's onsite trainer uses if that was what you used. If you're using the standard Kohya_SS, it will be "Network Rank (Dimension)" and "Network Alpha"
I used this article when figuring out my numbers
