Hey friends! I'm back again with a new model, This is MistoonAnime v1, reskinned for a 3D CGI look, I used light blockweight merges from MiaoMiao3DHarem v1, and Nova3DCGXL v4 to coax Mistoon towards 3D with minimal loss to the core functionality of Mistoon
Special thanks to the creators of all of these incredible models used in this mix!
Due to the heat limiting generations I used DMD2 SDXL 4step Lora for faster generation time, and I would recommend this for everyone
LCM Simple CFG 1-2 12 steps recommended, again you will need DMD2 SDXL Lora at 0.7 strength for these settings, without Lora I haven't tested much but would guess Euler A automatic CFG 7 30 steps if there is demand for it I can easily merge the lora into the model but I assume most of you already have this lora

Bumped up finer details, and slightly enhanced realism with JuggernautXL Ragnarok, skin and hair are vastly improved, as well as lighting, fabric texture, and the realism of backgrounds, try adding "realistic" or "photorealistic" to your prompts, in some cases it will give you a better result, I recommend trying with and without realism tags to see which you prefer, I am still recommending DMD2 4 step Lora, but with Euler A automatic, 8-15 steps, CFG 1.5-2. Adetailer face recommended for faces at a distance, Adetailer person will really make the skin texture pop, but make certain the order is person 1st then face, otherwise you will get bad mouths, lips, and eyes. FYI some of my showcase images need to be reuploaded due to an Adetailer error on my part, (I had adetailer person on from an earlier model I was working with and that was causing issues with faces mouths and eyes), so if you notice images losing likes but looking much better thats just me doing a little 'quality assurance' lol.
Edit: You can use adetailer person it actually helps alot with skin detail, as you can see in my Ariel image above, however you will also need to use adetailer face with that and you must make sure the order is Adetailer person 1st, then adetailer face, otherwise it will cause issues with eyes, lips, and mouths, I had face first and person after in the images I had to remove, that was the issue, so feel free to play around with adetailer person for more detailed skin.

it's in the "About this version" section but Ill copy paste it "Bumped up finer details, and slightly enhanced realism with JuggernautXL Ragnarok, skin and hair are vastly improved, as well as lighting, fabric texture, and the realism of backgrounds" basically I had planned to do a Mistoon x Real model, but I thought it would be neat to take this 3D model and slowly crank up the realism until I get to a fully real model, that way I'll have all these nice in-between models, I figure eventually Ill come up with something that looks very "Unreal Engine 5" like, which I think would be a neat model to have

What do you mean by this? Can you clarify?
I've never heard of a checkpoint needing a lora in order to function and that lora barely has 1.5k downloads, so no, most of do not have it.
The lora isnt needed for the model to function, you can just do Euler A at 30 steps CFG 5-7 if you dont want to use the Lora, I just recommend it because the Lora cuts down on generation time by allowing you to go as low as 8 steps and makes for a better experience imo
DMD2 is magic for low vram gpu's, but it limits your sampler choices to lcm, ddpm, euler a mostly. You can then generate with 8-12 steps (even though the lora states 4-step, use at least 8).
