The quality of this model is outstanding. It blew my mind away.
I just ran a rigorous test of 40 checkpoints to see which one fit my preferences best and was able to nail my complex prompts, and it was CapabilityXL. Apty named, btw. Thanks for this.
Is this model that good?
yes, it really seems to be so far. it really seems to have a wide range of ... capabilities. i stick to photorealistic girls and nsfw type images right on the edge of complete realism. for a long time I used Realities Edge (also appropriately named) but I always check new stuff and this new checkpoint is just outperforming RE for everything I want to do in the past 2 days
i particularly value "iteration control" in prompting to get fine details adjusted and this experience has been really controlled and predictable so far. it's been great
i use DPM++ 2M Karras with it, usually on 5-14 CFG (using a lot of word weight changes and repositions) with 12 steps for early iterations and 35 steps for later iterations, with final product at about 42 before going on to upscaling.
about the only thing I miss vs Realities Edge is specifically... eyeshadow. Realities Edge had some really dope eyeshadow training. But seriously, if that's how specific I have to get to find a downside, that's a bit telling, I think.

I'd like to be just DONE with checkpoint model hunting. I have 500GB of checkpoints and LoRAs on my drive right now, rofl!

@Kaladae hah, yea, i have. just shy of 900GB now, but trying to prune it because I don't want to exceed that drive and spill onto other drives, trying to control myself xD
@shapeshifter83 Yeah I have 99GB just in LoRa, and 3.2TB in checkpoints.... I just purchased 20 drives to install into a server in RAID 6 to help... "distribute" backups of stuff as well >.>;;
Bruh, if this had the capability of pyro's models, it would be perfect. It's EXTREMELY GOOD THOUGH.

I ran another test similar to the one I did a month back. This time it was an exhaustive comparison of 55 NSFW photorealistic SDXL checkpoints looking for things like prompt obedience, anatomical correctness, and various aesthetic factors, and found that... House of Freyja - Ire's Mix has surpassed Capability XL for me, and was my pretty clear #1.
Runners-up included Better Than Words v20 and v30, Capability XL, Luna Mia v50, and Ultrium v4, in no particular order.
