Freida Pinto (b. 1984) is an Indian actress. After growing up in Mumbai and working as a model and a TV host, she broke into acting as Latika in 2008's surprise hit Slumdog Millionaire. She's since had roles in Miral, Desert Dancer, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Immortals, You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger, and Mr. Malcolm's List.
