Stable. Consistent. Picks up prompts well. LoRAs? No problem — blends clean. Loves Danbooru tags. Use toon_style:0.8 for semi-real, 1.4 for exaggerated style toon. Nova Cartoon XL is dependable for my image generation needs. Thank you!
Why has this not be usable?! Literally one of the only reasons I use this site!
The only issue I have with this model is that for some reason it's super keen to add wooden doors into pictures unprompted, and massively overdo the textrure on those
great model nothing bad to say about the model itself, but the way they say you cant monetize your gens is stupid. now i dont mean that its stupid that they dont want you to monetize of it in general is stupid no thats perfectly fine but just the thing of putting it only in the description and not the site permission things is stupid. also cant monetize unless edited? what does this even really mean you say that but dont elaborate or explain further on that???
I never say that you can't monetize the generation: just have some edits and make them better
Without some limitation like editing stuffs, some people dump out countless images continuously which makes traditional artists face crisis
I think some edits like eye corrections, hands redraw and color adjusting would make them profitable while keeping the quality so don't think about the rules too much
There is no way he can enforce it. Besides, he has no foot to stand on because it's been trained with someone else's work. Whole disclaimer is childish and stupid. Monetize away.
@rancidy164 Personally I still agree with the author; the less mass produced slop the better. This way genners will have to put at least a minimum amount of effort before trying to monetize content. And just to be clear, I am against monetizing AI art in general; not because I find it wrong morally, but because it's mostly all derivative work. There's (in 99% of gens) nothing original because people just slap in artists prompts, act like they've created something new, and then try to sell it.
At the very least experiment with different aesthetic prompts like different types of lighting, angles, shading, coloring etc; make the gen your own.
In my opinion, this is the best model of the entire Nova series.
