This mode's primary focus is to be able to create art in a wide range of art styles. Its secondary focus is on beautiful faces (and consistent faces of defined characters from image to image). It sacrifices somewhat on hands (you’ll get good hands about 50% of the time). Of the 50% bad hands, about half of those can be fixed during upscaling without having to edit the source image. The remaining ones can usually be fixed with photo editing or inpainting. It’s really only the most spectacular ones that I take the time to edit or inpaint. Usually I can get an awesome image by just clicking generate and then upscaling by 2x at ~50% img2img weight.
