Sooo... I'm a little embarrassed of this workflow.
I've received a lot of interest in it and many of my most popular images were generated using it.
I guess it's my secret sauce, however... it's kinda stupid.
The whole thing started as an accident while swapping checkpoints.
I forgot to change my settings from LCM Exponential to DPM++ 3M SDE Karras.
To my surprise, I liked the output (and it seems other people do too).
If anything, it's a good lesson that it's always worth it to experiment!
Requirements:
WildPromptor Character Select Wildcards (you can delete this and reroute things if you like. I will publish a basic workflow soon)
4x_foolhardy_Remacri (or your favorite upscaler)
And a boatload of nodes. My ComfySnap node is now in ComfyUI Manager so you should be able to easily install them all.
Usage:
Uhhh idk. This whole thing was a big accident so I suggest playing around.
Mess with the CFG, steps, pre-processing, and prompting until you find something that you like.
Honestly, the key here is the upscaler. I'm surprised it can take such a crappy output and turn it into something interesting.
We're introducing a ton of artifacts that get warped and obliterated in weird ways by the upscaler.
Sometimes it does really goofy stuff because it doesn't know how to interpret the incoming information. To avoid this, keep your CFG relatively low and your steps around 18 or above.
Besides that, it's your typical workflow. I'd play around with the facedetailer to hit a balance between fidelity and cohesion with the rest of the image.
Lastly, I'm sure you don't need to load a second model like I did here. The same thing can likely be achieved by running Big Lust through the dmd2_sdxl_4step_lora and into the highres.
Honestly, I've moved on to other workflows so I haven't tried it. I may spend more time with this one in the future, we'll see.
As always, thanks for the support!
