Once loyal Space Marines, they descended into madness during the Horus Heresy, pledging themselves to Khorne, the Chaos God of war, blood, and rage. Since then, they have devolved into blood-crazed berserkers, roaming the galaxy in warbands and slaughtering indiscriminately.
