『異世界迷宮でハーレムを』より、お魚大好きのミリアです。

見た目のとおりのネコ娘、猫人族なる種族です。
おそらくは漫画版でも年内に登場、するかな？　したらいいなって感じの進行具合なのですが（２０２５年４月現在）後々なかなかの活躍をする娘です。

設定上で純粋ではありませんが”ネコ”なので夜目が効く、ようはタペタム持ちです。夜に目がピカッと光る反射板、我々人間にはありませんが、生物全体としてはありふれた構造ですね。

人間との関係性によりますが（平たくは飼い主）自らの意思で人間と共に生きてくれる超絶希少動物種の犬・猫・馬、いずれもタペタム持ちです。柵がなくても逃げ出さないってのは数多いる生物の中でも非常に少なく、それだけ（イメージとして）身近な存在になり得たのでしょう。（書いてて思ったのですが、ラクダってどうなんでしょう？　あんまり逃げていくイメージもないのですが）
ちなみに都会の方には馴染がないかも知れませんが牛とか羊は逃げます（笑）　だからこそ牧羊犬が管理のお手伝いしてくれるのですが。ま、なんにでも例外はあるので「うちのベコは逃げねぇ！」ってのも広い世の中もちろんあると思います。

で、この身近な動物は擬人化、とくに昔の漫画ではとてもポピュラーです。ネコ擬人化の始祖は、水木しげる先生の『墓場鬼太郎』のネコ娘？とも思ったのですが、いやいやそもそもあのネコ娘は妖怪という作中世界の個であって厳密には擬人化ではないし、始祖を論じるなら鳥獣戯画、いや、それをいうなら日本に限らず神話世界は擬人化だらけ、おそらく広い意味で擬人化ってのは無生物を源とするアニミズムの派生なんではないかなと。

愚にもつかないことを書きましたが、擬人化されるキャラクターはその性格においても性質を引き継ぐもので、ミリアも例に漏れず性格も猫です。

あんまりベッタリせず、共同での戦闘があまり得意ではなく、・・・と、書いていくとネタバレに踏み込むのでこれぐらいで。
