Rod Ries began his career as an illustrator in the mid-90's doing art for Fantasy and RPG magazines. He later became a colorist, doing work for titles like Action Comics, Teen Titans, Supergirl and Infinite Crisis. He has also worked on Marvel Comics as a penciler for titles such as Winter Soldier and New Mutants.

It doesn't replicate the exact style unless it's done with the default ILXL checkpoint. So using it with others will produce different results.
