Certainly not the most useful LoRA in your toolbox! But, hey, it's there and I can use it in my 3D courses...
I've trained this model to generate random silhouettes for my chara design students who want to improve their skills in matte painting, concept design for 3D character creation, animation or game design.
It's also a way to learn how to create a LoRA model, lol...
In any case, don't hesitate to try it out if you like... and share results.
The trigger words are :
silhouette: for opaque rendering
sketch: for lines and detail
full body: for a complete character
monochrome: to help isolate the character and decontaminate the color
reference sheet: to help to design a multiple view or random sheet for characters
Train material (137 pictures ) : my own drawings, blemishes, rough sketches, some charadesign generated in stable diffusion
Trained on SDXL 1.0
Epoch 5 : 4600 steps

Such a cool Lora. Could you train one with alpha textures?
thank you, what you mean by alpha textures ?
@Aurety you know the black and white texture, for ZBrush they are called alphas cause you use them differently and in other 3D software, you use them for texture and they have different names depending on what you use them for.
Maybe a better option would be to train one on alphas and real textures, that way you have one place lora for it, since making a black and white is easier than giving color to a B&W one.
@Tensakure ah ok ! Of course, I know alphas for zbrush or substance.. I thought you spoke about this character lora.. Yes, I have in mind this kind of Lora and some others relative to 3D stuff like this one for wireframe for SD 1.5.. Thanks for feedback !
@Aurety no SDXL version? Or why choose SD 1.5?
This is how artists put ai to be even more creative and speed up painting/process. Well at first it wasnt for me but after I was good enough to train/merge my own models that work well and look like what you're going for. This warms my heart. I'll be trying out your lora soon. It looks super useful. Your lora here, the idea behind it, is something I've been working towards doing. Hopefully in a month or so. There's probably other creative uses. Like any medium you find out as you go. Nice work.
Thanks, and for the reminder to improve this LORA ! There is a beta model I'm working for months called SIOUX and it's dedicated to matte painting.. I have to update Cheyenne and Mohawk, and this will be the next one !
