The Emberguard are highly trained fighters and magic users once tasked with protecting the Ministry of Peace, the military junta that controlled all aspects of social and political life in the Ferexian Empire. Their loyalty was absolute, and they would have sacrificed their lives to defend their charges.
Until the legions of Chaos swarmed over Praetoria and subsumed the Ferexian Empire.
Now, the Emberguard protect the Chaos Empire’s Ascendency, kalaments, and other prominent government officials. Whether they’re willing to sacrifice their lives for their new masters, however, is another story.
