Hires.fix: Upscaler foolhardy_remacri (download and put in "ESRGAN" folder in "models" if you are using automatic1111 or forge).
Hires steps: 16-18
Denoising strength: 0.2-0.3
Adetailer: denoising strength 0.3. Detection model confident threshhold: 0.7-0.8.
Best sampling method is euler a SGM Uniform, 25-40 sampling steps. cfg 5-6, You don't need any DPM++.
For V-pred Euler A CFG++ (Cfg 1-1.5) is also good choice.

Any clue why when I use Eular A CFG +++ on reforge, I get a picture of what looks like a lava lamp as a result? lol
Hello! You need to decrease CFG significantly. From 5-6 to 1.2 - 1.5.
Thanks for the help, switching from Euler A+++ to Euler Ancestral +++ seems to have fixed the problem. I'm a little confused though, is this for generation or just upscaling?
@darkspaceinfinity omg is it different? I use Euler Ancestral CFG++ from reForge because it was added by author of fork. But I thought that people who use forge and install extension manually (where "euler a CFG++") use the same sampling method.
I use euler Ancestral CFG++ for generating and upscaling (hires fix which is actually Extras upscaling + img2img in one button). II tried CFG++ for fixing "fishnet artifact" caused by SDXL VAE on my 3D lora but seems that this sampling method is much better for anime.
