This lora is one of my favorites. Interestingly adding it in varying degrees to combinations of other loras makes those other loras more coherent when hands or details are otherwise not coalescing.
You have perfectly understood how to exploit this lora, because indeed the 2 versions were trained essentially on portraits; therefore with gaps in the hands and the rest of the body. The best way to compensate for this is to associate it with other lora which compensate for this lack
