there's just nothing to be done with illustrious, it all just looks like anime :(
Illustrious is only starting to really get to a workable point. You'll want to use a variety of checkpoints to see which ones give you more what you want, and be sure to try new ones regularly. On this specific point, though, don't hesitate to increase weight of tags and also use your negative prompt. If you don't want anime, there's some wiggle room with most models at least. You can also look for LoRAs to guide the style.
@hushicho Thank you! Also i have trained this lora with images from both the cartoon and fanart which slightly deviates from the style so it IS versatile enough to alter it's look. But yeah style loras and different checkpoints (homosimile being my favourite) will help you a bunch
