Either Annie or Annie with Calypso together!
@12user34kn276 I love it, I love Carbdis's games. I cant wait for Annie and Penelope!
Lets goooo! this dropped on Eternum's 0.6 release too.
I would have to wait one more week tho :(
Unless my patience runs out and I buy a better tier lmao
@12user34kn276 Unless your a sinner and go through other means
@KingLewyin Pirating small creators is a no-no on my ethical compass haha
@12user34kn276 Well i have no said compass, i did one month of the $50 tier back when OIAL came out, and considered that me just purchasing said game. I know im awful
@KingLewyin Not pointing any fingers here! And you’re not awful, you shouldn’t say that about yourself:) I don’t know your financial situation either, it’s just that I personally enjoy supporting things that i like, especially when such help can actually make some impact!
@12user34kn276 Going off topic here, how did you train your lora to get that semi-realistic look? because when i asked someone to do Lauren from OIAL which has the same artstyle theirs came out more of an Anime looking model instead of like yours? ill post a link to their lora so you can see what i mean. https://civitai.com/models/117935/unofficial-lauren-once-in-a-lifetime
@KingLewyin It’s likely that this anime style is a consequence of the model used to train the LoRA and the model used to generate preview images. I trained mine on AnyLora, which is an amazing model because you can train on any artstyle whatsoever and it will keep it!
@12user34kn276 I got it from f95zone, I thought since the dev himself, Caribdis, posted it there, it should be ok. It is the actual dev who posted it right?
@gunit28 Sorry, but I think there’s no way it was Caribdis who posted it - he releases the game on Patreon in a way that the highest tiers get to play the laters version of the game first so if you got the 0.6 version of the game before public release not from Patreon it was pirated
@12user34kn276 Ah shit, I went on Caribdis' discord and yea, it's a fake dev account. The mods said they know about f95 and the leaks but Caribdis can't do anything about it.
@gunit28 Yeah, the reason they cant do anything is because technically his games are using another games assets which are copyright are you are not legally allowed to make money of the sale of the game. So he cant sue f95 for copyright, its the same reason they cant post the game on steam like you see some other VN's doing. They can get away with doing a patreon since you are not technically buying the game.
@KingLewyin Ah, I see how it is. I feel like most VN's do the same thing, I haven't seen many of the most popular ones on Steam.
@12user34kn276 Being a DIK, Summers Gone are some big names and are made with DAZ Assets which are paid and/or non-copyrighted assets are all on steam. But Games with the same artstyle as Carbdis are called Honey Select games or just HS for short. Honey Select which is a Sex Character Model Creation Game is a copyrighted game that is on steam but people like Carbdis like that style of character and find it easier to work with but the thing is, since its techinically an asset from another company you cant make money off of it. but they turn a blind eye to patreon and the game devs that use there assets as long as they dont try to actually sell the game.
@12user34kn276 Yeah im not sure how all that works but i have someone thats gonna help me on Wednesday to teach me how to make lora's so im gonna try making it myself. but the lora i linked, he messaged me and said if you used a Cyberrealstic or Photorealistic model than it comes out closer to how you got it.
@KingLewyin Interesting, thanks for the info. I feel like the company must be missing out on some profits if they don't do partnerships with such creators but it's not really my business I guess. Regarding training, i didn't use such models and I don't think there is a no need to do so. I used AnyLora which is mostly an anime model but also supports semi-realistic looks and I think "semi-realistic" describes the style of renders used in the game better than actual photorealism. I used this tutorial to teach myself how to train LoRA's: https://civitai.com/models/22530/guide-make-your-own-loras-easy-and-free and didn't deviate from the instructions provided there too much even for this model so perhaps you would find it helpful :)
@12user34kn276 Thank You! ill check it out!
Spot on!
