Agasint all odds, I use Kamimaru a lot for... testing... and so I decided to update the design a bit. With this version, generating at strenght 1 is absolutely fine (previous versions where overcooked).

This version is also more flexible.

Design changes:

• No more eyebrows (lol). I wanted a more SSJ3 look without the massive spiked hair.

• Improved hairstyle. Though, still not perfect, bangs might appear depending on the checkpoint used.

• Improved eyes... wait, no... Eyes are still a mess for shots that are not closed up, but, they are more predictable than vanilla SSJ3 eyes. Also, eyes are more consistently yellow.

• Better back shots and side shot. Kamimaru v1 was difficult to put in shots other than front view.

• Removed excessive skin glossiness. It looks nice on Kamimaru v1, but is inflexible with some style loras, so, it had to be flattened.

Kamimaru v1 still has a better body without additional prompting or style loras in my opinion, and looks more cute, in contrast, Kamimaru v2 looks was designed to look meanier and manlier. So, v1 is not really outdated (for now), both versions have its uses.

I created a bigger dataset for this version, but, in lora training, more is not always better, specially for completely AI generated characters like this one.

All in all I spent a couple of days training this lora, it was frustrating, but after it was done cooking I had lots of fun with it.
I am publishing this lora because, mainly, I want it to appear in the description of my prompts.

Kamimaru started as a random image that was generated in Midjourney a year ago, never thought I would become obsessed with it. I might even publish some lore one day!

Illustrious:

Because I almost use PonyXL no more, I really need me to upgrade my OC.
This version focuses more on his hair and facial features.

Pony Version:

An OC I usullay use for testing loras or mixing in with different character LoRAs.
I originally intended him to be a Dragon Ball/Shaman King style OC but later morphed into a generic long haired muscular dude of slender frame with a hindu-esque forehead dot, fingerless gloves and compression pants.

In any case, use him in any way you want. Looking forward to seeing him in your generations.
