<h2 id="load-checkpoint-(auto-vaeclip)">Load Checkpoint (Auto VAE/CLIP)</h2>Loads a checkpoint and automatically swaps in an external VAE and/or CLIP, based on a simple mapping file. No more manually wiring a separate VAE loader for every model. Features:- Per-checkpoint mapping by exact file name- Wildcard patterns (e.g. pony/*)- Per-architecture defaults (e.g. @SDXL, @SD15)- External CLIP for SD1.5, SD2 and SDXL- "info" output showing what was actually loaded- Without a mapping file, it works like the standard checkpoint loader Setup:Copy model_map.example.json to model_map.json in the folder ComfyUI-X4Lch3mist/auto_checkpoint/ and adjust it to your files.Entries are matched in this order:1. Exact checkpoint name, as shown in the dropdown2. Wildcard pattern3. Architecture, prefixed with @VAE names refer to files in models/vae, CLIP names to files in models/text_encoders. Installation:1.
