No harsh realism, no dark chiaroscuro: this is the world of François Boucher, the favorite painter of Madame de Pompadour, where mythology becomes a theatrical boudoir game, shepherdesses wear silk taffeta, and the light is always a soft, pearlescent glow of crushed pearls and rose petals.
About the Artist & The Style

François Boucher (1703–1770) is the undisputed master of the French Rococo, celebrated for his idyllic, voluptuous, and highly decorative mythological scenes, pastorals, and intimate boudoir portraits.

Signature Concept: The theatrical pastoral. Boucher painted aristocrats playing at being shepherds in silk gowns, and goddesses who look like they just stepped out of a Parisian salon. Mythology is treated as an excuse for sensual elegance.

The Manner: Soft, fluid, and incredibly detailed brushwork focused on the rendering of luxurious fabrics (silk, satin, lace, taffeta) and the flawless, porcelain-like skin of his subjects. The compositions are asymmetrical, swirling, and filled with cherubs, doves, and floral garlands.

Palette & Light: The quintessential Rococo palette: pearl pink, sky blue, celadon green, cream, and gold leaf. The light is always diffused, pearlescent, and shadowless — a permanent, flattering boudoir glow or a soft pastoral morning.

The Subjects: Venus at her toilet, Diana resting after the hunt, silk-clad shepherdesses with fluffy sheep, cupids playing with arrows, Madame de Pompadour, and allegories of the arts and seasons.

Tested Generation Settings (Krea2)
ParameterValueLoRABOUCHER_krea2_3389492_epoch_20Base modelKrea2Steps8 (Optimized for Krea2's distilled architecture — preserves the soft pearlescent glow without over-sharpening the silk textures into plastic)SamplerEuler ASchedulerBong TangentResolution1536×1024 (horizontal decorative panel / pastoral) / 1024×1536 (vertical boudoir portrait)LoRA weight0.90–1.0 (at 1.0 the Rococo pastel palette and silk textures lock in perfectly)Positive-only disciplineRococo oil painting, François Boucher style, pearlescent light, silk taffeta, classical mythology
Trigger Words
Core Triggers:
oil painting in the manner of François Boucher
,
French Rococo style
,
pearlescent pastel palette
Boosters:
silk taffeta textures
,
theatrical pastoral
,
boudoir glow
,
cherubs and doves
,
porcelain skin
