Steampunk Essence LoRA – for Flux, Flux 2, Krea 2, Z Image Turbo, SDXL, Moss-Image and Ernie. Victorian Innovation, Mechanical Dreams

Premise: If you use my model and your image is chosen for the CIVITAI cover, you receive 500 Yellow Buzz – even in combination with other models.
R+ images are hidden from the gallery. Trained with Flux & Flux 2 (Klein 9B), Krea 2, Z Image Turbo, SDXL, Moss-Image and Ernie.

Putting a Like to the V67 models is worth more than giving me Buzz (yellow/green).

Limitations per Model (2-column table)

ModelNoteFlux SchnellKeep prompts concise – trades detail for speedFlux 2May over-smooth rust / high-frequency textures; add “rough texture”Krea 2Excellent for artistic detail but may need more steps for consistencyAnimaSofter edges – better for narrative, not ultra-sharp mechanicsZ Image TurboAvoid prompts >100 tokens; best with focused descriptionsSDXLRequires higher CFG; balanced but less pushed toward photorealismErnieSlower inference; expects well-structured grammar

Prompting Tips – Do This / Avoid This

Do ThisAvoid That[subject] in [setting], wearing [period clothing], [materials like brass/leather], steampunk styleOverloading with style keywordsMention specific materials: brass, copper, leather, woodContradictory instructions (“sleek minimalist steampunk”)Add atmosphere: fog, gas lamp, cobblestoneModern materials (plastic, neon)Use keywords: gears, pistons, gauges, rivetsExtremely short prompts (Flux/Ernie need context)

Strong keywords: brass, copper, iron, leather, wood, canvas, gears, pistons, gauges, pipes, rivets, Victorian, steam, fog, gas lamp, cobblestone, airship, locomotive, automaton, clockwork

Quick Start Workflow (Flux Dev example)

text

Model: Flux Dev
LoRA: Steampunk Essence (weight 0.7)
CFG: 3.5 | Steps: 25 | Sampler: Euler

Prompt: a magnificent steam-powered airship floating above Victorian London at dusk, brass framework, multiple decks with portholes, propellers spinning, fog rising, gas lamps glowing, warm golden light, steampunk style

Negative: nsfw, low quality, photograph, modern, plastic, sleek, minimalist, futuristic

Troubleshooting (2-column table)

IssueSolutionNot enough mechanical detailsIncrease LoRA weight + add “intricate gears, visible machinery”Colours too dull / warmSpecify “polished brass, copper tones” or “warm golden light”Modern elements appearStrengthen negative prompt with “modern, contemporary, plastic”Figures lack period clothingBe explicit: “Victorian gentleman in tweed suit with top hat”Backgrounds too simpleAdd “intricate cityscape, detailed environment, atmospheric”Anima gives soft edgesUse lower LoRA weight (0.5‑0.6) + “sharp details”Z Image Turbo loses coherenceKeep prompt under 75 tokens; use weight 0.85+SDXL too photorealisticIncrease CFG and add “illustration, painterly, stylized”Krea 2 slowReduce steps to 20 and use DPM++ 2M Karras
