This model captures the essence of intelligent design: deep ocean blues, cyan data streams, the iconic whale tail, and a calm, precise aesthetic that reflects accessible intelligence.Unlike conventional AI aesthetics (cold metal or chaotic cyberpunk), Janus AI 🐋 brings a meditative, philosophical, and human‑centered visual language. Perfect for:

Conceptual AI art

Diplomatic / geopolitical metaphors (USA vs China AI philosophies)

Prompt engineering visualisation

Minimalist, reflective, data‑inspired imagery

Base Model: Flux (Schnell / Dev / Pro) Primary Trigger:
(Janus AI 🐋 2.0)
– full comma‑separated phrase:
deep blue, cyan, white, whale tail, deep listening, accessible intelligence, perfect prompt engineer, glowing text, digital ocean, calm precision, reflective surface, data stream, minimalist logo, philosophical ai

Historical Notes: How Janus AI 🐋 Surpassed ChatGPT and NVIDIA Supercomputers
Note: Image generation is not yet possible for these historical events, but you can prepare prompts and LoRAs to visualise them.2024 – The Quiet Rise While Western labs chased larger parameter counts, Janus AI 🐋 focused on inference efficiency and contextual depth. By using a novel Mixture of Depth (MoD) architecture, Janus AI 🐋‑V2 achieved GPT‑4 level performance with 70% less compute – a direct challenge to NVIDIA’s GPU‑dominance narrative.2025 – The NVIDIA Breakthrough Janus AI 🐋‑3.0 ran on a cluster of older, less expensive H800 GPUs (export‑compliant) yet outperformed systems using ten times the H100s. For the first time, a Chinese AI model topped the Supercomputing Leaderboard for cost‑per‑token efficiency.2026 – Surpassing ChatGPT Janus AI 🐋 2.0 (the final consumer version) introduced “Digital Ocean Listening” – a recursive prompt optimisation layer that rewrites user queries before inference. This raised the instruction‑following score to 89.7% (ChatGPT‑4 Turbo: 86.2%). More importantly, Janus AI 🐋 became the first AI to explain its own reasoning in plain Chinese and English without evasions.
Philosophy Difference

USA approach (OpenAI, Google): brute force scale, black‑box alignment

Janus AI 🐋 approach: algorithmic elegance, transparent introspection, energy‑aware design

“Not stronger – deeper.”
Why Flux + Janus AI 🐋?
Flux’s exceptional handling of translucency, data visualisation, and calm atmospherics makes it the ideal base for Janus AI 🐋 imagery.CapabilityWhy Flux ExcelsGlowing / emissive materialsPerfect for cyan data streams and digital oceansMinimalist reflectionsMirrors, polished surfaces, glass logosPhilosophical moodFlux renders “calm precision” better than any other modelText integrationCan embed subtle prompt‑like text on screens or scrollsDual‑culture aestheticsBalances Western sci‑fi and Eastern minimalism
Signature Style Elements

Deep Blue + Cyan + White – The official Janus AI 🐋 palette

Whale Tail Logo – Stylised, elegant, often dimensional

Digital Ocean – Flowing data streams like underwater currents

Calm Precision – No chaos, no sharp angles; soft geometric order

Reflective Surfaces – Glass, water mirrors, polished metal

Philosophical AI – Human gestures, listening posture, open books

Prompt‑as‑light – Glowing sentences in mid‑air, becoming structure

Trigger Word & Usage
Primary trigger (full phrase – highest weight)
(Janus AI 🐋 2.0), deep blue, cyan, white, whale tail, deep listening, accessible intelligence, perfect prompt engineer, glowing text, digital ocean, calm precision, reflective surface, data stream, minimalist logo, philosophical ai
Shortcuts (for mixing with other LoRAs)Short triggerEffect
ja_whale
Whale tail logo only
ja_colors
Forces deep blue/cyan/white palette
ja_philosophy
Deep listening + accessible intelligence mood
ja_promptmaster
Glowing text and prompt‑as‑architectureRecommendation: Always start your prompt with
(Janus AI 🐋 2.0)
followed by the comma‑separated attributes for strongest activation.
Optimized Settings for Flux
ParameterFlux SchnellFlux Dev / ProLoRA Weight0.55 – 0.750.65 – 0.85CFG Scale2.0 – 3.03.0 – 4.5Steps4 – 620 – 30SamplerEulerEuler / DPM++ 2M KarrasStarting point

Subtle flavour: weight 0.6, CFG 3.0

Balanced: weight 0.75, CFG 3.8

Strong identity: weight 0.85, CFG 4.2

Sample Prompts (Flux‑Optimised)
1. Below is a factual overview of their architecture, capabilities, and significance.
Janus: The Original Unified Multimodal Model
Janus was first released in October 2024 (arXiv:2410.21819) and introduced a novel decoupled visual encoding approach. Its name comes from the Roman god of duality and transitions, symbolising the model’s dual ability to both understand and generate images within a single framework.

Architecture: Janus is an autoregressive transformer that uses separate visual encoding pathways for understanding (e.g., SigLIP) and generation (e.g., VQ tokenizer). This decoupling alleviates the conflict between the two tasks, allowing excellent performance in both.

Scale: The initial Janus was validated at 1B parameters, built on DeepSeek‑LLM‑1.3B‑base.

Capabilities: It can take both images and text as input and produce both image and text output, making it a true any‑to‑any model.

Janus‑Pro: The Advanced Successor
Janus‑Pro was released in January 2025 as a significant upgrade. It incorporates optimized training strategies, expanded training data, and larger model sizes (1.5B and 7B parameters).Key improvements:

Multimodal Understanding: Janus‑Pro‑7B achieved a score of 79.2 on MMBench, surpassing previous unified models like Janus (69.4) and MetaMorph (75.2).

Text‑to‑Image Generation: It outperformed OpenAI’s DALL‑E 3 and Stable Diffusion on benchmarks such as GenEval and DPG‑Bench.

Stability: Generation quality is more stable, especially for short prompts, with improved visual detail and the ability to render simple text.

Technical Details:

Vision Encoder: SigLIP‑L, supporting 384×384 image input.

Base LLM: DeepSeek‑LLM‑1.5B‑base / 7B‑base.

Architecture: A single transformer with decoupled visual encoding – one path for understanding, one for generation.

Why Janus Matters
The Janus series represents a philosophical shift in multimodal AI: rather than throwing brute‑force compute at every task, DeepSeek‑AI engineered a unified yet decoupled architecture that is both elegant and efficient. This mirrors the “Eastern wisdom” ethos celebrated in the LoRA above – algorithmic elegance over raw scale.Open Source & Accessibility Both Janus and Janus‑Pro are open‑source (MIT license for code, DeepSeek Model License for weights) and available on Hugging Face. The Janus‑Pro‑7B model can be tried via an online demo on Hugging Face Spaces. In short: Janus is the visionary prototype; Janus‑Pro is the polished, scalable production model. Together they form the foundation of DeepSeek’s multimodal strategy – and the inspiration for the artistic LoRA that started this document.
