This workflow uses a reference video to guide motion, shot timing, camera language, and cinematic pacing while MiniMax H3 generates a new visual result. It is useful for transferring movement structure without directly reusing the source performer's identity or appearance.

The workflow uses the MiniMax H3 local ComfyUI graph with the connected model, VAE, encoder, sampler, resolution, and video output chain shown in the JSON.

Main features:

- MiniMax H3 FL2VA diffusion model with connected video and audio VAE routes
- MiniMaxH3ReferenceToVideo conditioning for video-only reference input
- Motion, staging, camera direction, and edit rhythm can be described from the reference
- Connected 16:9 widescreen resolution route at the 0.4 megapixel setting
- 20-step simple scheduler and res_multistep sampler
- Prompt-driven replacement of visual identity, environment, and subject design
- SaveVideo output for a direct generated video file

Suggested workflow:

Use the reference video for movement and cinematography instructions only. In the prompt, explicitly describe the new subject and environment so the output does not copy unwanted identity details. Start with a short reference section, then add the replacement character and scene constraints.

MiniMax H3 R2V-02 pure video reference

A MiniMax H3 omni-modal video graph exported from episode 288. 37 nodes / 46 links. A LoadVideo -> Video Slice -> GetVideoComponents chain provides the reference video and its components; LoadImage slots and LoadAudio are also present. 16:9 at 0.4 MP, 5 s.

Conditioning:
MiniMaxH3ImageToVideo
/
MiniMaxH3ReferenceToVideo
saved at 1344x768 / 124 / match where present; ResolutionSelector and duration values are quoted per item above; output goes to SaveVideo prefix
video/MiniMax_H3
.

How to use

This is the video-reference route: motion and timing come from the reference clip rather than from stills. Video Slice controls which segment is used.

Limits and not-verified items

No inference was run for this listing: no speed, VRAM, audio-sync or quality claim is made. Values are quoted from the saved nodes. The graph's notes link the official Comfy-Org/MiniMax-H3 model files and the MiniMax blog; those notes are preserved and this listing does not claim to be the original template author. Weights, encoder and VAEs are not bundled; check their licenses separately. The cover image is a promotional still, not a frame produced by this graph.
