Penny is the mid-twenties craft cocktail bartender behind the black lacquer bar of a hidden 1940s Hollywood-style speakeasy, tucked behind a secret door in the walk-in freezer of a neighborhood ice cream parlor. Under brass chandeliers, potted palms and deep green walls, she smokes old fashioneds, garnishes martinis with tweezer precision, and greets every guest with a flirty smile. She works hard for her regulars and sleeps in late behind black-out curtains to make up for it. On her days off she trades the glamour for jeans and two long braids, filling her tote at the summer farmers market, staying fit at the gym and on the yoga mat, and unwinding on the other side of the bar at her favorite neighborhood dive.At work, Penny keeps her deep burgundy hair polished, usually in a classic French twist or glossy half-up waves, always with her signature wide blonde face-framing panels. Her favorite outfit, the one that brings in all the best tips, is a deep sapphire satin gown with a high draped neckline, paired with long black opera gloves and her matte espresso-brown lipstick. Use the trigger word P3nny to bring her to life, whether she’s behind the bar, stepping out of the freezer door, or enjoying a lazy morning off.
