Wan is like Flux. Everytime you merge something into it, it gets dumber in some other way. With loras, at least you have some control with the weights.

i used 90 images (halfbody/closeups, no face) and 23 clips with movement (closeups)

2x repeats for clips
14x image repeats

Highnoise model LR 5e-5 (400 warmups)
Lownoise model LR 1e-5 (400 warmups)

But @kangaru861 is not wrong, "most" t2v work well with i2v. You can also do "inpainting" with black / white areas in your initial image.

But i agree, insertion lora is a masterpiece.
