In a nutshell: generate image (civitai), convert image to 3D (tripo3d), render 3D scene (blender), generate video (hailuoai) You can skip 3D if you just want to go to video for one static shot, or take a screenshot of your 3D model.

Creating a Short Video Online from 3D

Create a 6s spooky short video, all crafted from assets generated online.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how I made mine.

Step 1: Generating the Starting Assets

I kicked off the project by creating a series of images on Civitai with LoRA's trained on my own original assets for Flux. This allowed me to set the tone and vibe of the scene with my own essence from the beginning.

Step 2: Bringing Images to Life in 3D

I converted these images into 3D models using Tripo3D’s image-to-3D tool. From here, each asset transformed into a real piece of the virtual world—a haunted house, a skull vase, a pumpkin-carrying doll etc. This step turned flat ideas into tangible elements I could move, light, and adjust the textures.

Step 3: Crafting the Scene in Blender

I imported everything into Blender to set up the final scene and experimented with different layouts, lighting setups, and camera angles to capture that eerie Halloween mood.

Blender was also where I directly refined textures and modified some of the mesh output, and made a few small extras for the backdrop (underlay grass and sphere for the sky)

Step 4: Adding Special Effects and Textures

After building the core scene, I moved on to post-processing.

Step 5: Animating the Scene

I used HailuoAI’s image-to-video tool to animate the still scene into a short video, letting the Halloween magic come to life. Each frame breathed with spooky energy and subtle movement, bringing a whole new layer of depth to the characters and their surroundings.

Step 6: Adding Soundtrack

Using Suno, I created an original, corny-but-catchy track that fits perfectly with the visuals.

Finishing Touches

A final pass through Photomosh again to add a bit of atmosphere, and it was ready to share!

Inspiration and Assets

The scene drew from a variety of sources and themes—witches, skulls, quirky pumpkin dolls, and other bizarre creatures. From enchanted mushroom gardens to a gloomy stone walkway, I created a surreal, layered Halloween world.

This entire process was done mostly with tools anyone can use online.
