announcement

Thank you to everyone who participated in my bounty, Through Another Era's Eyes.

So many of you brought real imagination to this round and turned out genuinely fun images with stories to match. There were far too many entries I loved for different reasons to single each one out, so I'll hold back from going through that in detail this time.

With that, here are the results.

1ST PLACE
giminic

The idea of a medieval-era Walkman was just so refreshing to me. I mean that sincerely — not as a throwaway compliment.

2ND PLACE
hotlikethesauce

A selfie in the 19th century, when even taking a single photograph was a whole ordeal? If something like that had actually existed back then, we might have much clearer pictures of what our ancestors looked like.

3RD PLACE
Liant

GPS in the 18th century — at least you'd never have to worry about getting lost.

Thank you again to everyone who entered. As promised when the bounty was announced, 1st through 3rd place will each receive a small amount of Yellow Buzz.
