The difference between a bounty and a comission.

I have noticed a couple of examples of people posting bounties for what should be much more accurately described as commissions so I am going to explain the difference.

A bounty is a competition between artists giving them a chance to practice creativity and compete with each other, a bounty will have themes and requirements such as.

I want sci-fi images, photo-realistic, SFW, suggested themes are space pirates, space battles, hot babes in action poses.

Alternatively a lot of bounties have requirements like, here is my LORA, create what you want with it, suggested styles are photo-realistic, SFW/NSFW.

So bounties give artists a lot of creative expression and freedom.

A commission is more along the lines of, I want images for the 6 following categories in a photo-realistic style, using flux, looking like the style in these images, striking these poses with the guys face covered, 4 girls around him, one must be Asian, one must be Blonde, one must be a MILF and to be kind you can get creative with the last one. There is very little in the way of creative freedom of expression with a commission and they tend to get low amount of submissions because who is going to jump through hoops for a chance to win a prize that is worth less than $10 worth of buzz.

If you want a commission contact an artist whose work you like directly, negotiate a fair price and then you can be exacting with the requirements you want. You will get faster response, a more motivated artist, you wont be wasting other peoples time and you wont have the best artists ignoring your calls for work/bounty.
