Civitai is dead

This is not an opinion nor some angry rant, its just a matter of fact: the site is dead, ever since the buzz change there's very little activity, images barely break 200 reactions when in the past you could easily see posts with thousands of reactions each. Its clear a lot of people plain left the site, will they come back? I don't know.

Letting paid users use blue buzz to do NSFW but not having paid tiers under $10 made civitai uncompetitive with other generation services, they should've added a tier below bronze with less perks if only to keep more people from leaving. Edit: giving blue buzz to model creators even when the user generating something has a paid sub its a dick move.

Months ago I proposed civitai could make extra money by creating official booru-like sites for the content made and posted here. You have tons of boorus making good money just from ads, sometimes with content lifted from here. I sent that proposal to civitai staff and never got a reply, why they couldn't implement something even teens on 4chan make is beyond me. The local search system for content sucks, when I see something good I've to save it because I wont be able to find it ever again, not because its been deleted but because again search sucks here, plenty of other users have said the same.

Frankly I think there were alternatives to this, if the problem was people generating NSFW for free to post/sell it elsewhere just slap a big civitai watermark on it for free users, would even help promote the site as a ton of stuff published here gets reposted elsewhere (most of the time without asking the creator...) without anyone knowing where it came from.
