Another Product of Recent Changes. My Personal Conclusion
Firstly, I understand likely no one will care for this article and likely will see it is as just another conclusion. And in reality, that it is.
This simply exists so I can put my opinion onto the forum that has created it. Civitai has been a platform that has taken me to many highs and lows of AI development and enthusiasm within our community. It is that community I will miss the most, I understand I am no longer as active as I once was on the site, mainly due to real life responsibilities increasing through both working part time and studying full time as a student.
Despite these factors, I always was around, lurking in recent developments, experimenting with resources and creating things that I wanted to. The vast majority of my generations now are SFW and are not as effected as most users but in respite, I refuse to use a service that would rather throw its users to the proverbial wolves.
To put it simply, I will no longer be active here likely at all. But that is likely a good thing, like a drug addict forced into asylum I am free from the chains that took up so much of my time. Time that I can no longer get back.
To all those who have chatted with me over the lifetime of my account, you all made my life just a bit better :) filling my head with knowledge and heart with your complaints (special shoutouts to: @BiggunBuns, you opened the gateway to video generations and @Joey420, you were my inspiration to start this journey months back and for that I am ever grateful.)

Now that the emotional rant is done I will put some predictions below, these may or may not come true over the coming time but eh, who cares now anyway?
Resources will have to be paid to download (via yellow buzz or other currency)
Civitai will lose around 90% of all its current user-base (I've seen the stuff that goes down in the recent image and videos and noticed most were generated on site.)
Civitai will lose some of even its paid customers, they like me will refuse to support such a system. And for that I am proud for them to stand for their beliefs.
Civitai will bend to the knee to payment processors as they become more desperate to cling to their dying business model and make even worse decisions on their generation and hosting services, making even the most loyal among their community leave or plant the seeds of doubt (mine was planted months ago.)
Even if there is a reversion of their choice (I heavily doubt) on their generation system this will remain up as my choice here is certainly final.
