My take on the new Civitai changes & why my lora posting has been a bit slow lately.

Hey all. I recently just read the new Civitai update with how the blue/yellow buzz works now and wanted to talk about it. Really sucks for the free users on here that use blue buzz for NSFW generations and I feel for you all. I do also understand Civitai's reasoning for doing all of this since they're probably trying to figure out a way to keep this website alive and have more incentive for people to buy yellow buzz. I'm not someone who needs to buy buzz anymore even after this change because I get about 1k yellow buzz daily from the creator tip compensation. Plus I have a laptop that can use ComfyUI and generate images pretty fast, so I don't really use my yellow buzz as much anymore. My buzz is mainly used now for training loras and sometimes image generating if I want to generate both on here and ComfyUI at the same time.

To start off I'm not going anywhere and I'm still going to post loras whenever I have both the time and energy to. I haven't thought of making a profile on Tensor or Pixai yet because I'm honestly just too lazy to do it lol, but I'm also aware some people upload my loras on there already which I don't mind. If I do make a profile on either of those websites, then I'll be sure to let everyone know. This website honestly was my gateway to AI creating and I'm still grateful for Civitai to allow me to train loras and post them here. I was also really glued to making loras everyday before Illustrious was created and I just couldn't stop. Luckily that phase of mine was gone long ago, so I'm not addicted to making loras and generating images as much as I use to.

I haven't really been posting anything much these past couple of days due to being busy in my outside life and gaming pretty hard. Usually I will post loras a lot more frequently if I got free time to spare or I'm not hyper focused on a video game. Recently, I finished beating Digimon Story: Time Strangers and my god that was such a good JRPG. I'm so happy Digimon is getting the love it deserves right now especially with how terrible the Pokemon games have been recently lol. Playing this game introduced me to some new Digimon I've never heard of until now, so I will probably make some future Digimon loras for the ones I find cool that I like. Chronomon: Holy Mode and Cerberumon: Werewolf Mode would be 2 examples of Digimons I'd love to make a lora for.

But yeah that's basically it. I'm still chilling here and I'm not really mad as most people are because I'm not part of the userbase that's getting hit, but I totally understand why Civitai is getting this level of hate right now. With the loras I have lined up I have an interest in doing more furry characters from doujinshis that I wish had more real art for those characters. Other than that, I will probably do Warwick from League of Legends with his 2XKO look since he looks amazing in that game. I know people have also requested other loras in the past long ago and I'm so sorry for not doing them. It mainly comes down to enough interest from me and the drive to sit down and commit to doing them especially if it's a character with a big image pool to work with.
