    # PromptWaffle — late-night prompts from a sleepy coffee goblin ☕

Hey — I’m the (very caffeinated, very sleepy) solo dev behind PromptWaffle. I built it because my prompt files were turning into spaghetti and I wanted a faster, cleaner way to assemble consistent prompts for AI art without losing the fun of randomness.

    👉 GitHub: https://github.com/Fablestarexpanse/PromptWaffle

I also spun up a new Civitai profile dedicated to PromptWaffle prompts and examples. No link here by request — just letting you know it exists. Mostly I hope this little tool is useful to anyone else who juggles a ton of styles, characters, and tags.

    ## What it does (in plain human words)

    - Wildcard Studio: Point Waffle at simple .txt lists (Outfits, Haircuts, EyeColor, CameraAngles, etc.) and click the 🎲 to mix things up. Lock the parts you like, roll the rest.

    - Profiles & Templates: Save your favorite base prompt once and reuse it. Great for keeping a consistent vibe across sets.

    - Real-time cleanup: Waffle auto-dedupes tokens as you add/remove bits so you don’t end up with “blue eyes, blue eyes” chaos.

    - Auto-refresh: Drop new wildcard files/folders in and they’re ready immediately — no restart.

Plays nicely with whatever pipeline you’re running (ComfyUI, SwarmUI, Flux, etc.).

    ## New: Character Builder (sleepy-brain’s favorite part)

This is the part I reach for when I’m building repeatable characters or doing multi-image sets.

    - Character Cards: Give a character a name and anchor them to a base prompt. Add your go-to tags, LoRA triggers (if you use them), and any must-have descriptors.

    - Attach Wildcards: Link your Hair/Eye/Outfit/Angles lists. Lock hair/eyes to stay consistent across a set, roll outfits/angles to keep things fresh.

    - Variants Without Chaos: Duplicate a character card to make “Alt A / Alt B” versions (different outfit palette, different lighting), while the core look stays intact.

    - One-click Assembly: Pick the character, tap the dice for the swappable sections, and Waffle assembles a clean prompt on the spot.

It’s not trying to be a giant DCC tool — it’s a small, practical way to keep characters steady while you experiment around them.

    ## Quick start

    1. Clone the repo: https://github.com/Fablestarexpanse/PromptWaffle

    2. Open Waffle and load the sample wildcard lists to see how things slot together.

    3. Make your first Character Card (name + base prompt), then attach the wildcard folders you care about.

    4. Lock what matters, roll what doesn’t, and ship your prompt into your image pipeline.

    ## Recent polish (v1.3.x vibes)

    - Tighter layout, better spacing, cleaner buttons (more info in less space).

    - Snappier boards/snippets and improved sidebar behavior.

    - Tutorial touch-ups so Wildcard Studio makes sense faster.

    ## A small ask

If PromptWaffle saves you time, I’d love your feedback and a ⭐ on GitHub. I’ll keep iterating between sips of coffee and questionable playlists. Thanks for giving it a try — hope it helps you build cleaner prompts and more consistent characters without killing the vibe.
