Let's be real. CivitAI already has alot of instructure in place where they could do this, probably shifting some personnel around and maybe hiring some new people. Or to make it completely seperate company but could rent to themselves the servers, and hardware so that the books are completely seperate.

Not only would they be lowering the cost to themselves for future processing, but they'd be creating a niche business that they could serve other businesses if in the future they wanted to expand beyond being self-serving.

Even if they didn't have any other clients, long term they'd be creating savings for their other sister company, reinvesting the profits back into the new company or repaying investors and becoming debt free. They could reinvest the profits after being financially sound and maybe even become self sufficient.

Right now, they know the content is moderated, and safeguards are in place. They could become their own processing company.
