Where on the censor/everything spectrum do I really rest?

I could list everything out to say if I wanted to see it, or not wanted to see it. It's not up to me to decide what people will do with their spare time, what they want to train, what they want to create, or what they want to see. That's not my place after all. I simply shove everything that seems remotely interesting into the square hole and provide a blacklist to make sure everything isn't complete garbage being fed into and sourced from the machine.
I don't have massive datacenters to train and I don't have research grants to back me. I'm basically just a madman with good pattern recognition.

I personally think people should be allowed to express themselves; but as anyone who has allocated any sort of freedom to anything knows, the freedom will be fully exploited at the expense of everyone around the free entity.

It's clear in game development. All inputs must be shaped to prepare the outcome of a potentially controlled behavior; whether it be pressing A doesn't crash the game, or pressing A at a specific point doesn't clip you through a wall.

In game development, either you cover every possibility; or the game will simply be broken. Whether it be in 5 minutes or 5 years, someone will find that wall to clip into - and you'll be responsible for it.

The more controlled and covered, the more boring the games tend to be. You could say checkers is fully controlled, with every rule laid out and an entirely mapped series of moves. That doesn't make checkers a good game, nor does it make it more complicated than chess. Neither does it make either game inherently more fun for one person to play than another, as that particular aspect is left up to the individual to decide.

That being said, just because the world wants to twist what we are; wants to conform us into normality, or shift our attention and desires in the directions of a more helpful to society - does not necessarily matter in the long run, unless people get hurt.

Once people get hurt, that's the line. It's gone beyond the simplistic conceptualizations into the pragmatic reality of the world, and that makes me more akin to Rorschach before he crossed that twisted line. A mad scientist variation of a man, akin to more of a building fanatic than some sort of savior or altruistic man.

I know when my machines will cause damage and I can figure out whether or not things will work ahead of time. That doesn't necessarily mean I won't sell leaded gasoline, as the simplistic route to the solution happens to be the moderate neutral element that cuts costs.

I mean... I wouldn't ACTUALLY do that. Even the Romans knew lead is poisonous. That's just a dumb idea.

Also, let me update my mad scientist diary. I'm not going to make realistically useful articles until I can pop my mad scientist article to the top by simply updating.
