End of Intermission Week: Legal Reminder and Resumption of new LORAs for Season 5

Greetings, one and all. This is MKULTRA. We have completed most of the LORAs for Intermission Week and there are only a few LORAs left of Season 1 left to do. I will get back to those during the weekend as I am sure people are looking forward new LORAs rather than rehashing of the old LORAs. As for today, we will discussing some of the changing legal environment.
Changing Legal Environment
As you may or may not know, the United States of America recently enacted the TAKE IT DOWN Act, which bans and criminalizes the transmission of Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (NCII). This includes pictures/gens, also colloquially known as "deepfakes". However, personal generation is not covered under the act.
While I am not a lawyer, please be reminded any pictures you generate should be kept to yourself. If you spread your gens around, you open up yourself both civil [being sued] and criminal liability.
As for the future of LORAs, the future is unknown. I have taken efforts to mirror some of my works on other platforms, but I believe CivitAI's platform is the most friendly and to update, upload and share content. I certainly hope that CivitAI can continue to operate with less intervention by government & payment providers.
