I spent buzz to get my model featured. Let's see how a featured slot impacts a model's usage rate!

With much discussion on the bid system and it having calmed down some from the initial few runs, I was curious to see how featured slots actually impacted model usage, I saw a 3rd place slot was going relatively cheap (though a lot of bids occurred in the last 20 hours knocking me down to 14th) and I figured I could get an article out of documenting the experience and if it was worth it. With all that considered, I decided to spend a relatively small amount (557) of buzz to put my most popular and broadly useful model in a featured slot. As the name implies Gundam X Style can be used to produce the style of After War Gundam X, but even if you've never watched it (Go watch it. It's awesome and officially free on Tubi right now if you're in the US.) it is very good as a "generic "90s shonen anime" style. Since I used way too many handtagged images (I'm pretty sure a style can be captured in far less than 1k images), it combines well with nearly everything, and can handle most concepts pretty well, and knows many concepts from the show as well.
As of first writing this article, the model has 444 DLs, 7,493 gens, and 1482 buzz earned. To really be deemed a success, the model will need to hit 2000 buzz. I have no pressing need to earn this back, but if it earns back the cost or not will be a good baseline for determining if lower ranked featured slots are at all worth it.
