Update on making Illustrious models

Hello all. Recently I've had a lot of people message me asking if I will be making Illustrious models for certain characters I did for Pony. As you may have noticed, I recently made my first Illustrious model being Taomon from Digimon Tamers. This was very easy to do since the training data was already there and I could use the "re-use a database" feature that ports all the images and all the tagging that I did for the Pony model. The only thing I had to do is change the training method to Illustrious instead of Pony. This was such a huge time saver and I'm glad a feature like this exists. Even though this was easy to do, I unfortunately cannot apply the same method to my older Pony models. After 30 days, Civitai deletes the training data that involves the tagging I did and I can't use the "re-use a database" feature to save time. I am also an idiot and did not download most of the saved database training that has all my tags saved on a notepad document because I legit didn't know that was something I could do until 2 weeks ago, so that's on me lol.

Anyways, I am interested in getting some of my more popular concept and character Pony models into Illustrious. My main reasons why I'm going to do some Illustrious models is because I do think it is better than Pony in some aspects and I want to see how some of the models I create for Illustrious will come out. This will take some time though because I have to redo all the tagging training data again and I'm not someone who trusts the auto-tag feature. I like to do everything manually, so I can be as accurate as I can with the training process. On the plus side of all this, I can use newer images for concepts and characters that have been drawn recently from the artists that came from it and I can also update the Pony models of those existing ones with the newer image dataset. As a heads up, some of the Pony models I made that I'll prioritize first for Illustrious will be Dimwitdog's Amaterasu, Siroc's Busty Mrs. Otterton, Zira from Lion King 2, and Mabo-Guppue's Cum Explosion Blowjob. I don't think I'll do my entire catalog of Pony models to Illustrious because there's just too much, but I will prioritize what is both my most popular ones and the ones I like the most.

That's all I wanted to say for now. This is not me saying that I'm converting to Illustrious though. I like both Pony and Illustrious, so all my newer models from here on out will most likely have both a Pony and Illustrious version. All I can say is to just give me time since doing models that have a dataset of 30 or more images takes up a lot of my time out of a day to do. I wish Civitai didn't delete the image datasets on their website after 30 days because idiots like me will forget to save that work somewhere else and think I won't need to use it again for the future lmao. But yeah thank you all for your support and following me. It's always appreciated. I still like doing this AI stuff for fun and I don't I'm going anywhere anytime soon. 👍
